Getting the visa

The process of receiving the Polish visa has 2 stages:
1. The applying of the documents
This procedure can take place only with the presence of the applicant and in order of a living queue. You don’t have to book it – just, the day when the applications will be accepted you have to appear yourself in the order of a living queue to pass the interview and to apply your documents.
It is important: in some cities you can spend in a queue a lot of time, so you have to take into account this fact when you will plan your trip.
2. The receiving your passport and visa
After you have applied, the original of you international passport you leave in the Embassy for pasting in the visa. To get the passport back with visa you can on the 5th working day.

To get the passport back you can yourself or according to the warrant of attorney.

The documents for receiving the visa

The necessary documents:
You will need to provide the following documents, regardless the terms of your trip to Poland:

1. International passport – the original and a copy of the first turn (where the signature and the photo are). If except the valid passport you have the previous one already canceled by the Department of Visa and Registration (OVAR), you have to show it in the Embassy also, especially if there are other visas and trips abroad, especially into the Shengen zone. It will be additional argument toward your loyalty and dependability.
2. The application form – 1
3. Photo – 1 pcs. The size of the photo must be 3.5 х 4.5 sm. The size of the head of the photo – from the top of the head till the chin must be from 3.2 to 3,6 mm. To stick to the size of the photo is very important, in other case the photo will not be accepted and you will have to make in a hurry another one, or even worse - you will not be able to apply at all and you will have to make the whole procedure once more.
4. Copies of the filled up pages of the Ukrainian passport (necessarily, pages – 1, 2, 3 + the pages with the marriage, official residential registration marks and a mark of distribution\cancel of the international passport). Without these documents you will not be granted with the visa (the documents will not be accepted and you will be asked to prepare the necessary documents).

Confirmation of the purpose of the trip:
- The invitation from your employer (we will provide you with this document)
- Confirmation* of the financial condition security of the trip

*To confirm the Embassy officer that you are capable of paying, you have to produce:
1. a certificate, which proves that you have a definite sum of money in your bank account;
2. originals and copies of the traveling bill bought under your name
The sum of money can be shown in any currency, not only in euro. For example, you can provide a certificate form the bank that you have the balance of money in grivnas on your account or you can buy the traveling bills, nominated in USD.

Confirmation of Ukrainian relations:
We recommend to provide simple copies of documents, where it is clearly seen your martial status:
1. Certificate about marriage
2. Certificate of giving birth to a child

Insurance
The amount of insurance must be not less than 30.000 €. The insurance company, which will give you the insurance, must be included into the list of accredited insurance companies, which can be easily found in the internet of the corresponding embassy establishment.

*** The above mentioned documents are not the whole documents which will be required in your individual case. The Visa Officer always has the right to require additional documents, which prove any facts according to your application.
